Day 1: Hanoi

Arrive into Hanoi and check into the five star, classic Sofitel Metropole Hotel located in the French Quarter. Enjoy a half day city tour of Hanoi’s sites in a vintage Citroen or cyclo, before savoring fine North Vietnamese cuisine in one of the city’s best restaurants.

 

Day 2: Hanoi

Cook up a storm in a private cooking class with one of the Sofitel Metropole’s chefs, take a visit to the local produce markets and learn how to make classic Vietnamese dishes. Enjoy your finished work with a glass of wine. In the evening experience a traditional water puppet theatre show before dining in a popular Hanoi restaurant where you can try the unique food Vietnam has to offer.

 

Day 3: Hanoi - Hue

Fly to the historic Imperial Town of Hue and check into your resort. Visit the Citadel, temples and pagodas in this lovely, leafy town, before dining on authentic Hue cuisine fit for an emperor.

 

Day 4: Hue

Take a leisurely stroll through town, swim in your own private pool or be pampered in the resort’s luxurious spa. In the afternoon go on a tour of the local produce market with a personal chef, before retiring to your villa for a cooking lesson in your outdoor courtyard kitchen. Relax on comfortable lounges in the garden and dine under the stars.

 

Day 5: Hue - Hoi An

Drive through beautiful coastal scenery to the quaint, picturesque fishing village of Hoi An. Spend the afternoon on a walking tour of Hoi An town’s streets, soaking up the Chinese, Japanese and French influenced architecture and tailor shops. Dine in one of Hoi An’s fabulous restaurants for dinner or we can arrange a candle lit dinner on the beach.

 

Day 6: Hoi An

Soak up the atmosphere of Hoi An’s riverside market before catching a boat to a lush villa for a fantastic cooking class. Enjoy a drink by the tranquil river with lunch made during the cooking class, then spend the afternoon at leisure exploring the town or relaxing on the beach.

 

Day 7: Hoi An

Free day at leisure to enjoy all Hoi An has to offer or simply relax in your luxurious resort or on the beach.

 

Day 8: Hoi An - Ho Chi Minh City

Fly to HCMC and check into your luxury hotel. Explore this metropolis on a private guided tour taking in the highlights of Saigon City, before relaxing on a dinner cruise on the Saigon River and see the bright lights of the city.

 

Day 9: Mekong Delta

Spend the day cruising on a private sampan up the Mekong River amongst fascinating floating markets, before entering the tranquil paradise of a French colonial style villa on the riverbank set amongst lush gardens. Experience a memorable lunch including one of Southern Vietnam’s specialties, Elephant Ear fish. Return to HCMC for a final dinner in one of its best restaurants.

 

Day 10: Depart Ho Chi Minh City

Optional half day tour to the famous Cu Chi tunnels or spend the morning relaxing or shopping before your departing flight.
